Madison FoodCamp (the foodie equivalent of the tech focused BarCamp) returns April 13, 2013. FoodCamp is a one day, DIY food focused “unconference” of learning and knowledge sharing. The event is low-key, with mostly hands-on workshops where the presenters are just regular people.
This is a great event for aspiring food entrepreneurs. Sessions are expected to include many food related topics, including workshops on gardening, composting, pickling, fermenting, chicken raising, bee keeping, foraging, CSAs and more. Attending FoodCamp is all about engaging with your fellow Madisonians – Ask questions, offer up your own experiences, and be active in the learning process.
