Subsidence Accepted Into Bolt Accelerator

subsidence-logoSubsidence has been accepted into the inaugural class of the Bolt accelerator program based in Boston. Bolt is a six-month, intensive accelerator program designed to spur the growth of new hardware-based technology businesses. The Bolt program will provide Subsidence with a package of financial investment, access to world-class prototyping and manufacturing facilities, 24/7 access engineering and design staff, and business and technical mentoring from a panel of world-class experts.

Subsidence generates real-time, localized, weather data, powered by a dense grids of patent-pending, next generation weather stations. The hardware designed by Subsidence detects rain, hail, winds and other weather events directly at the Earth’s surface where the risk to life and property is greatest. The information collected by Subsidence is analyzed and processed to create real-time datasets and views of the movement and intensity of weather events to provide better insight and early detection of risks.
